I came to canyon with no hope, 3 months to live, and a serious lack of faith. In treatment i learned how to be honest, how to be accountable, how to believe in myself again. They guided my recovery and helped me change my life. Today i have a life that i never imagined for myself. And its because canyon saw something in me that i couldnt.
My job is to help families find good treatment resources. I can say that without a doubt, this is my go to place for women in the country. They are the definition of dedicated.
I work in the field and am often heartbroken to hear about some of the experiences clients and families endure in the recovery process. I am so happy to know that Canyon Crossing is available to help this population that so desperately needs it! They are truly setting the bar higher when it comes to treatment and are getting results. Their care is completely comprehensive- offering outstanding therapeutic services along with psychiatric, primary care, sober living, peer accountability- it's a truly integrated, progressive program that again, yields results! I highly recommend Canyon Crossing!
I consider Canyon Crossing Recovery for Women to be a premiere women’s addiction treatment facility. I have been asked by a number of friends and colleagues on where they could send a loved one to treatment. My answer has been and will continue to be Canton Crossing Recovery for Women. They are the best of the best.
Great place and great staff. I love their Adventure program and everything they offer. I refer clients here often and have been on site many times. Will continue to use them for a long time to come!
First off hands down Canyon is the best treatment center for Women hands down. It is the toughest thing I have done in my life but the most rewarding as well. I decided to write a review because I saw someone else write a review that I was in treatment with and could not remain silent. This "client" who shall remain anonymous but sounds like Crook is spreading absolute false claims. First of all-who writes a review 3 years later? Obviously if that person had worked the steps, and I mean really worked them she would have obviously gotten over that resentment. Like shesh-who does a review 3 years later. Pretty petty to me. Also this girl showed up to treatment with Louis Vuitton luggage in her Moms Mercedes wearing all her name brand clothing talking about how many expensive treatments she has been to. I don't think she has any room to talk about the owners being flashy and about that-at least the owners built something unlike that spoiled little baby living off of daddy's and mommy's money. I also personally know that Justin and Erin have scholar shipped more girls through Canyon then they even should have. Those two individuals care more about peoples recovery then people even realize. I was also there when she had her accident snowboarding. She got hurt because she was the only one who refused to wear a helmet. Canyon told her to and she refused. Sounds like she brought that on herself. The "Doctor" she speaks of who really is a "doctor" went to go work somewhere else....has not worked there for a while. It also sounds like the crook's Dad could not face the reality of what he said and broke weak under the entitled little baby that runs his house. I have seen it so many times with girls who are spoiled cry babies....I have seen it with my own eyes. They create lies and fabricate stories out of thin air because Canyon is an actual program that makes people look at themselves. She probably went to some therapy cuddling session where she got to get whatever she wanted and didn't have to show up for life then onto a sober living where she got whatever er she wanted and didn't have to show up for life. Her mom and Dad probably still pay for her rent, car, clothes and still doesn't have to show up for life. Im sorry-you may have gotten 3 years but doesn't sound like the type of sobriety I want. Who writes a review 3 years later...she probably smokes weed and occasionally drinks and calls herself "sober". All I know is that I got tired of seeing people review Canyon and telling lies. Most of all these bad reviews are from clients who didn't want to show up in life. Also don't get me started on the "staff member" who reviewed Canyon. Also all lies. I wish I could review her ass. She sucked and was mean. Anyways-I love Canyon. I will be forever grateful for them. Now I haven't stayed sober the entire time but from the lessons I learned I knew what to do. I am happy now to celebrate 2 years this coming October!
I am a recent employee of Canyon Crossing Recovery. I no longer work there, and left on good terms. I wanted to share an insiders perspective. From the top to the bottom this program is top notch. The clinical team works tirelessly(and I mean through weekends, holidays, late nights you name it they do it) to ensure that the individuals under their care are receiving the treatment they need. They are skilled, and fully competent in treating not only substance abuse, but the many things that go alongside it. The owners are highly involved (in the appropriate fashion) and are some of the most compassionate people I know. Erin works endlessly with the clients, and the residential and clinical team. Justin will go to any lengths feasible to ensure a families daughter is able to get treatment at Canyon Crossing. ive worked at other programs before- and not once have I seen the owners involved like they are. They certainly don't have to be- they choose to be- because they legitamately care. The residential team is top notch as well. Highly competent at making sure everything in day to day activities is in order- and handled appropriately. They are with the girls around the clock, and they are engaging, compassionate individuals. My personal experience as an employee was the best experience I have ever had in a workplace experience. Even though I left on good terms, and life took me another direction, I am sad to leave an amazing team and program.
Great facilities. Caring staff. Great medical team!
Canyon Crossing Recovery is one of the few programs that the ownership from top down are hands on, humble, and genuinely care about the long term success of their clients. I would trust them with my children as they not only operate a successful company, but practice the principles in real life in which they teach their clients. Don't let other places fool you or lie to you. Trust Canyon Crossing Recovery.
My daughter attended Canyon almost 2 years ago. As a father I was distraught and searching for a solution to help her with her addiction. I was graciously lead to Canyon and put my trust in Justin and Erin to help her. We flew her over 1,500 miles away and dropped her off , for her life saving journey. I had to trust and use my faith to overcome the heartache that my daughter was so far away and trust she was in good hands. She was, I have been nothing but pleased and grateful with Canyon and their staff (especially Heather). They were receptive to questions and concerns and treated us like family. Canyon is not like the other recovery centers that she previously attended. This is an intense all female recovery center and they hold the girls appropriately accountable for their actions. I believe they taught her and provided her with core tools to survive life's struggles. They have been a source of help to us and my daughter even after she graduated from the program. To me that is proof that they care and go above and beyond what is expected. I would highly recommend Canyon to anyone seeking help for their loved one who is fighting addiction. I am eternally grateful for this program and my daughters sobriety!
This place saved my life. Not only did they help me stop using heroin, they also taught me how to be a better person, and how to show up as a woman in recovery. Yes, it’s a hard program, but that’s exactly what I needed (I was really stubborn and in such denial about my addiction). All the staff is amazing too.
Thanks Canyon for giving me my life back! I am so grateful for the experience! In the beginning the owner told me that it would not be easy but would be worth it....well I can say that that statement is entirely true! I loved the outdoor activities, my fellow peers, and living in the houses. Yes it was hard and I saw a lot of people have a problem with the level of accountability that they hold. I have been to a lot of treatment centers. These days I feel that treatment centers are more about trying to keep people there instead of making them better. Its really sad :( Thats why Canyon is different. They will say what needs to be said. I needed to hear the truth. I didn't always appreciate but in the end that's what i needed. Thank you to Canyon and all their staff! Made a huge difference in my life! xoxo
My sister attended CCR. While it was a hard program and challenged her in the end it became one of the best things she ever did for herself. The staff are caring and the houses are really nice. I attended their family workshops and have to say I learned a bunch about myself and my sisters addiction. Im so grateful she went to Canyon. Thanks to the hard work she has done we have her back in our life!
Canyon Crossing Recovery helped me become the woman I am today. I was lost and broken and had no idea what life looked like outside of drugs and alcohol. Canyon Crossing and their team walked along my side and helped mend my broken wings so I could fly Again. They showed me direction, patience, guidance, and they loved me until I was able to love myself. They helped open my eyes to recovery and guided me to see that there is life outside of drugs and alcohol and that there is hope. Today I am able to suit up and show up and be the best daughter, sister, friend, partner, and mom I can be. Today I can look into my son's eyes and in confidence know that I can show up as the mother he needs and can rely on. I am able to raise him, love him, provide for him, and give him the life I know he truly deserves. But in order to love and take care of others, I first had to learn how to love and take care of myself- I couldn't do it alone and Canyon Crossing helped provide me the tools to be able to do that. Working together as a team they helped me bring down my walls and sift through and clear the rubbish of my past- finding a lost version of myself buried so deep, I never thought would see the light again. But after a lot of hard work and break- throughs we found her, and we were able to set her free. I am alive again today. Striving to live my life as a woman walking with integrity and grace- a way of life that Canyon showed me. And even after I left Canyon Crossings and moved back home they continued to show up for me and love me even when I was miles and miles away. Canyon isn't just a treatment center, they are a family.
I have been a client at canyon crossing for almost 8 months now, graduated the main house and am now currently doing the alumni program. This program has truly changed my life for the better more than I ever thought possible. I came into canyon lost, broken, confused and dependent on everyone, I am now the opposite of that. I now hold down a job, pay my own bills and am self sufficient. In my first 3 months at canyon my family decided to pull financial support & wanted me to leave treatment. I knew, along with Erin and Justin, that if I left I would soon be on the fast track back to jail or even death. The owners continuously reached out their hand and support so I knew I had options. They have now been fully scholarshiping me my entire stay. The canyon staff here has continuously shown me what the meaning of unconditional love is. They have loved me through the good times and the severe difficult times. I never truly knew the meaning of family and love until I came to Canyon Crossing. I highly recommend Canyon to anyone who is sick and suffering with addiction and co occurring disorders. It has by far been the best decision of my life. I am forever grateful for this program.
I have worked in the Prescott area for years, and have been fortunate enough to be part of a company that the participants at Canyon Crossing provide community service through. Every week, the ladies come in directly contribute, through their time and effort, to an incredibly valuable local resource for those who need it most- battered women and children, whom the proceeds of the company I work for go directly towards helping. I'm not a technical person, so I rarely write reviews, but I've been so touched by these young women that I felt compelled to do so. I watch as the ladies enter into Canyon Crossing. When they first come in to volunteer, most seem absolutely broken, empty, angry, lonely, and I can tell that life has been really hard on them. When they first come in, most aren't too enthusiastic about doing service work and they'll try to find ways to get out of it. That's never bothered me, I'm just happy to have the help. But over time, I start to notice drastic changes in these ladies- it's as if they want to be there. They want to contribute, they are more cheerful, they have more energy, start to have a light back in their eyes, and I can tell they are happy! I can tell they feel so much better. It's been such a pleasure over the years, getting to know these ladies. I felt compelled to reach out to Canyon Crossings Recovery because after all these years of observing as an outsider, the incredible changes these women experience has just left me in awe. I know the staff has to be doing a fantastic job over there to be able to help these women change like they do. I've watched so many truly remarkable transformations that I have literally lost track. I just wanted to say "Thank you" to Canyon Crossings Recovery. As a member of the community, I feel you are providing a great service. I don't know how you do it, but please keep doing what you do. These ladies desperately need you!
Canyon Crossing Recovery is a premier treatment program for woman. Canyon Crossing provides an integrative treatment system using best practice modalities and approaches. Canyon Crossing addresses the whole woman, treating addiction and mental health simultaneously. As a counselor, It is by far one the best programs, I've worked with...and the staff is outstanding!!!
I cannot say enough about this wonderful facility and staff. They NEVER gave up on my daughter - even when she ran from the facility 3 times because she wasn't ready to change - they never stopped caring and talking with us on the phone at all hours of the day. Yes, they are tough. Yes, they are truthful and don't sugar coat anything which makes it hard for an addict to hear, but they tell them what they need to hear in order for the addict to help themselves. The accommodations for the girls are wonderful and they teach them how to be responsible for themselves - how to budget money, how to make their bed and most importantly how to get along with others even when other people are saying things they do not want to hear. There is HIGH ACCOUNTABILITY at CC and they set the bar high. We recently attended our first workshop at CC and when we were face to face with our daughter for the first time in 6 months we were astounded with her transformation after JUST 40 days!!! And our pride grew as we saw her reach out to staff for advice and the wonderful and caring way the staff helped her take the blinders off and really see what was going on with the situation she was confronted with. I would recommend Canyon Crossing to anyone who is struggling with a loved one and their addiction - I will be FOREVER grateful to the staff at Canyon Crossing for saving my beautiful daughters life.

I have been to different treatment programs, the big difference here is the staff, they are wonderful.
I work in this industry and highly recommend Canyon Crossing Recovery. I have referred many patients to them and will continue to do so for myriad reasons. They have beautiful facilities that allow their patients to work on themselves and form real bonds. The main reason I love this place is because of the staff. The owners, Justin and Erin, have crafted a staff in their mold. Their passion for recovery is evident from the moment you walk in the door. Every patient is treated individually and with respect. They do a wonderful job of meeting people where they are in their recovery process. I simply cannot say enough good things about Canyon Crossing Recovery and again recommend them very highly.
Canyon Crossing Recovery is really the only place I refer families to when they are seeking treatment for their female loved ones. To be perfectly honest, it is one of the few places I know of and completely trust to provide, what I believe to be, the kind of structure, accountability, care, respect, tolerance, clinical expertise, and downright staff integrity needed to combat the roller-coaster ride of early recovery. It's simply a wonderful program with deep roots in the long-term, gender-specific approach to treating addiction. And their success is demonstrated through their alumni programming; women who commence from the program remain actively involved in helping the new women transition into a life a recovery. It's quite remarkable to see. There's just no question: the facilities are gorgeous and offer an at-home feel; the staff are incredibly passionate and dedicated to the cause of recovery; the clinicians are ethical and experienced. But most importantly, what's really special about this program, is the Canyon team's absolute insistence that their clients' quality of life improves. Every woman who attends Canyon is cared about enough by the staff to be given accountability and challenges up until the very end of their stay. No client is ever forgotten!
Justin and Erin are two individuals that are very committed to the success of the clients that have the benefit of attending their facility. I have known them for over 10 years both in and out of the program, and they are the real deal. It is reassuring to know that they not only help others overcome the reins of addiction but have been there and done it themselves. If you are looking for a honest facility for you or a loved one, you will not be disappointed with the level of knowledge and professionalism that you will get at Canyon Crossing. Treating addiction is not an easy task, and being able to do it with integrity is not as easy as it sounds. If you have ever been addicted you will know what I mean. I have been in the program 10 years and have seen a lot of people fail, both because they were not ready and because the treatment that they attended was a joke. If you need you find a top notch, no joke, all professional addiction treatment, Canyon Crossing should be your first call. I know from experience.
